Parents Interacting with Infants (PIWI), an infant-toddler course by the Center on the Social and Emotional and Foundations for Early Learning, focuses on promoting the social and emotional development of infants and toddlers. The course is based on the PIWI Model, which stands for Parents Interacting with Infants (but includes infants and toddlers!). PIWI has been successfully used in community-based, early head start and Early Intervention programs with a diverse range of parents and children. The primary focus of this new online course is on how the model applies to home visiting.
