This initial two-part professional development webinar event is by invitation and is appropriate for individuals who have experience in training
Early Intervention or Early Childhood staff. It provides Early Intervention and Early Childhood Education professionals with guidance on delivering inclusive practices training to staff from early childhood programs across Pennsylvania. Participants will be introduced to and provided with guidance on using the Collaborating for Inclusive Practices training materials, including a trainer’s guide for each course, PPT presentations, activity files to actively engage learners, and participant/trainer handouts for the following Collaborating for Inclusive Classroom Practices in Early Childhood courses:
Working Together provides a framework for successful collaboration to provide quality inclusive opportunities for every child. The components of this course include guided self-reflection about collaboration; Laws, Regulations, Policies and Guidance; and Disability Language.
Focus on Attitudes and Beliefs looks at how our actions are shaped by our attitudes and beliefs, and how societal attitudes and beliefs have shaped service systems. The course includes individual reflection on attitudes and beliefs, how they were developed and how they impact practices, colleagues and the service system.
To receive a training endorsement for presenting this content, you must participate in both webinars, complete an evaluation for each webinar, complete the Working Together and Focus on Attitudes and Beliefs online courses and submit your certificate of completion for each. Once you have received this endorsement you will be given access to the full set of training materials.
